Indulge in the nostalgic charm of a candy shop where soft pastel candy colors are paired with bold, juicy hues to create a vibrant, graphic pattern that feels fresh yet familiar. While developing the embossing plate, I faced the challenge of creating depth within the limited embossing range of the press. The solution: an optical illusion where raised scallops subtly gradate back to the surface before repeating, creating the appearance of three stacked layers with dimensional depth.
