But the real innovation was behind the scenes—it marked Estée Lauder’s first holiday collection crafted entirely with sustainable mylar. By carefully balancing where to conceal or reveal the metallic substrate, and playing with varied finishes, I created a rich, layered effect that maintained the brand’s signature opulence without the use of foil. True luxury, made sustainably.
